Lots have happened since my last post. Readers' Digest version: I've joined a new district and a new grade level. I'll be teaching 3rd grade this year! It's kind of perfect since I've taught 2nd grade and 4th grade before. I know what they can do at the beginning of the year and know what I have to get them to.
Another change, I've changed my classroom theme. Still have polka dots but it's updated. Kate Spade is my favorite designer. I love her bright colors and bold patterns. So the classroom is black and white polka dots and stripes with pops of bold colors.
It is still a work in progress but I am loving how it looks. Here is just a quick glimpse into my world of color!
We have a pretty large school. There are 8 of us on the team. Y'all, they are amazing! I've been super blessed to have joined such a great team. The kids are wonderful and the parents are super supportive. I'm one week in and can't wait to see what this year has in store!
